IPMS/USA Journal
The Journal is the national magazine of the American branch of the International Plastic Modelers Society and has a readership of about 5000. Starting in 2005, I became the art director of the magazine and was responsible for creating a new look and style. In addition to laying up the articles, features, and columns, I have been responsible for the majority of the model photography. I also work closely with the contributing authors to ensure that the photographic and copy needs of the magazine are adequately met. |

West Coast Yellow Pages Advertisements
As a production artist for West Coast, my primary duty was to produce advertisements of various sizes for a wide range of clients. |

West Coast Yellow Pages Production Artist's Manual
One of my duties at West Coast was to document all the complex procedures required in the production of a yellow page book. The manual would cover every aspect of the production artist's job, from explanation of file naming conventions to step-by-step instructions for the complicated pagination process, and even how to make coffee for the higher-ups. My goal with this manual was to create a very thorough and easy to read tome that would combine detailed explanations, humor and plenty of detailed illustrations. |

Laughing in Circles Music CD Art
A local artist asked me to create the artwork for this music CD. Working closely with the artist, we created art for the bifold cover, the inside and back of the tray card, and disk. The intent was to portray a slight sense of whimsy and incorporate reassuring, earthy colors. The cover photo is an old Polaroid of the artist as a child that I restored. |

Freight Logistics Corporate Identity
Freight Logistics exported high-tech equipment to South America primarily Brazil. Since culture and language could be an issue with some clients, Freight Logistics wanted a look that would imply stability and mobility. The four-page brochure needed to get the message across at a glance. |

Silicon Valley Scale Modelers Newsletter
My local model building club published a monthly newsletter called the Styrene Sheet. Each issue was 16 to 20 pages. A large part of creating the newsletter each month was soliciting and often writing content to fill each issue. Since all the modelers were local, I volunteered to do most of the model photography. |

Cocoon GH Brochure
This is an eight-page brochure for Cocoon GH. The client insisted on bright colors, so I kept the layout as lively as possible while attempting to maintain legibility and an attractive look. |
